Ecthyma contagiosum (Orf) – vom Huf zum Fuß

Zusammenfassung

Wir berichten über einen 53-jährigen Patienten, der sich im Mai 2016 bei uns vorstellte mit einem indolenten derb-palpablem Ulkus mit blassem Randwall und Umgebungserythem an der rechten medialen Fußkante ohne weitere Begleitsymptome. Anamnestisch gab der Patient auf Nachfrage an vor Auftreten der Beschwerden mit offenen Schuhen über eine Schafswiese gelaufen zu sein. In Zusammenschau von Anamnese, Klinik und im Verlauf durchgeführter Probebiopsie stellten wir die Diagnose eines Ecthyma contagiosum Orf.

Abstract

A 53-year-old male patient presented in May 2016 with a firm painless ulcer with a milky elevated border surrounded by erythematous peripheral tissue on the medial aspect of the right foot. There were no additional symptoms. On enquiry the patient reported that prior to the appearance of the lesion he had walked across a meadow where sheep were kept. The patient had been wearing sandals. Due to this history, clinical features, and typical histology we diagnosed an Ecthyma contagiosum Orf.
