Abstract
The clinical spectrum of gastrointestinal bleeding ranges from the possibly clinically,but often only amenable to laboratory anemia to fulminant bleeding with shock and acute danger to life. Endoscopic haemostasis is in many cases the method of choice. There are several methods available that are dependent be used by cause and localization of the bleeding.
Das klinische Spektrum der gastrointestinalen Blutung reicht von der ggf. klinisch, häufig jedoch nur laborchemisch fassbaren Anämie bis hin zur fulminanten Blutung mit Schock und akuter Lebensgefahr. Die endoskopische Blutstillung ist in vielen Fällen die Methode der Wahl. Hierzu stehen verschiedene Verfahren zur Verfügung, die abhängig von Ursache und Lokalisation der Blutung eingesetzt werden.
