Neuer adjuvanter Therapiestandard beim Pankreaskarzinom

Die adjuvante Behandlung mit Gemcitabin hat beim resezierten Pankreaskarzinom die toxischere Behandlung mit 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) und Folsäure abgelöst. Jetzt zeigte sich unter einer Kombinationsbehandlung mit Gemcitabin und der oralen 5-FU-Prodrug Capecitabin eine Steigerung der 5-Jahres-Überlebensrate auf fast 30%.
