Editorial

This 2024 European Paediatric Surgeons' Association (EUPSA) issue of the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery contains again numerous excellent and some outstanding articles. The Editorial Board of the journal is therefore very pleased to release this work. All papers have been presented at the European Congress of Pediatric Surgery, which took place in Izmir, Turkey, June 8 to 10, 2023. They were discussed extensively by our pediatric surgical community from Europe and from all over the world.

Forty, out of the many excellent presentations of the congress that have been submitted, were considered for publication in the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery. The manuscripts were reviewed and discussed by the EUPSA Publication Committee consisting again of the professors Ernest van Heurn from Amsterdam, Richard Keijzer from Winnipeg, Martin Lacher from Leipzig, Annika Mutanen from Helsinki, Udo Rolle from Frankfurt, Benno Ure from Hannover, and Augusto Zani from Toronto. Finally, 15 manuscripts were accepted for publication, most of them after revision according to the suggestions of the members of the committee. Again, we thank the members of the committee for their extraordinary input.
