Correction to the Retraction

In the original retraction note published on September 27, 2024 (DOI: 10.1055/a-1900-7109), it was stated that this article did not undergo peer review. Thieme would like to correct and amend this statement to inform the readers that this article underwent peer review, but did not undergo the final review by the American Academy of Audiology and as a result required a retraction following initial online publication. The journal is now published by the American Academy of Audiology effective as of January 1, 2025, who plan to republish the Version of Record of this article in due course.
