Glycoconjugates of some mycotoxins were prepared by the phasetransfer catalyzed glucosylation procedure. With zearalenone a regio- and stereospecific glucosylation gave the natural derivative which proved to be a "masked mycotoxin". In the case of ochratoxin A glucosylation occurred exclusively at the amino acid part to give an unusual sugar ester component.
