A new regioselective addition reaction between epoxides 2 and aromatic (heteroaromatic) compounds 1, 4 and 6 to give 2-aryl-oxy(hetaryloxy)-substituted 1-chloropropane derivatives 3, 5 and 7, respectively, is described.
