In order to explore the reactivity of (Z)-α, β-didehydroamino aldehydes, Wittig-Horner reaction with ethyl diethylphosphonoacetate, aldol condensation with ethyl acetate, and cyanohydrin reaction with trimethylsilyl cyanide were tried successfully to give the corresponding dienocarboxylate, enolcarboxylate, and cyanohydrin derivatives, respectively, in good yields.
