The chemoselective oxidation of pentacarbonyl-[amino(arylthioalkyl)carbene]chromium(0) complexes by using N-sulfonyloxaziridine or dimethyldioxirane affords the corresponding sulfoxide or sulfone derivatives in good to high chemical yields.
