SNAr Bases Macrocyclization via Biaryl Ether Formation: Application in Natural Product Synthesis
Further Information
Publication History
Publication Date:
31 December 2000 (online)
A new macrocyclization method based on intramolecular SNAr reaction developed recently in this laboratory has been summarized. Mild conditions, high yield and versatility are the characteristic features of the present method. Application to the synthesis of 14-, 16- and 17-membered macrocycles found in natural products has been demonstrated.
