Several spiro-2-oxazolines were synthesized by treatment of 2-benzoylamino-3-chloropropenoic acid with a series of aromatic and heteroaromatic diamines. Alkylation of these compounds took place on the lactam nitrogen of the 3,4-dihydropyrazin-2(1H)-one part of the spiro systems.
