15 Jahre gute Lebensqualität mit Ovarialkarzinom FIGO III b, davon 10 Jahre mit ausgedehnter viszeraler Metastasierung - ein exzeptioneller Krankheitsverlauf

Zusammenfassung

Wir berichten über eine Patientin, die in 1984 im Alter von 46 Jahren an einem Ovarialkarzinom FIGO III b primär operativ therapiert wurde. Fünf Jahre später wurde eine große Lebermetastase mit Zwerchfelldurchbruch und Infiltration der basalen Lungenabschnitte festgestellt. Unter verschiedenen Chemotherapien hat die Patientin unterdessen 15 Jahre ab Erstdiagnose mit guter Lebensqualität überlebt. Der für die Tumorentität exzeptionelle Verlauf wird anhand der Krankengeschichte dargestellt.

Abstract

We describe a patient who underwent surgery and adjuvant chemotherapy for stage III B ovarian cancer at age 46 years in 1984. Five years later the patient developed a large liver metastasis that broke through the diaphragm and invaded basal segments of the lung. With different chemotherapy regimens the patient has survived for 15 years with good quality of life.
