Klinische Erfahrungen mit einer kombinierten Calcipotriol/Dithranol/UVB-Therapie im Vergleich zur Dithranol/UVB-Therapie bei Psoriasis vulgaris

Zusammenfassung

Im Rahmen einer offenen klinischen Anwendungsbeobachtung wurde bei 10 Patienten mit einer Psoriasis vulgaris die therapeutische Effektivität einer Kombination von Calcipotriol, Dithranol und UVB verglichen mit der alleinigen Anwendung von Dithranol und UVB. Beide Behandlungsschemata wurden bei allen Patienten in Form eines Halbseitenversuches umschrieben an korrespondierenden Einzelherden der Extremitäten durchgeführt. Die klinische Evaluierung der Symptome Erythem, Infiltration, Schuppung und Fläche erfolgte mittels eines modifizierten PASI-Summenscores wöchentlich über einen Zeitraum von vier Wochen. Der Therapieerfolg der Kombination Calcipotriol, Dithranol und UVB war der Behandlung mit Dithranol und UVB zu jedem Zeitpunkt der Evaluierung statistisch signifikant überlegen (p < 0,05).

Combined Calcipotriol/Dithranol/UVB Treatment Versus Dithranol/UVB Treatment Alone in Psoriasis Vulgaris

In an open clinical trial including 10 patients with psoriasis vulgaris the therapeutic efficacy of a combination of calcipotriol, dithranol and UVB phototherapy was compared to that of dithranol and UVB phototherapy alone. All patients received both regimens with right/left comparison of preselected lesions on corresponding extremities. The clinical evaluation was based on erythema, infiltration, scaling and plaque area by means of a modified PASI sum score. Evaluations were done once weekly for four weeks. The therapeutic efficacy of the combination of calcipotriol, dithranol and UVB phototherapy was significantly superior to that of dithranol and UVB alone at all time points.
