ABSTRACT

Large bowel Crohn's disease is a challenging management problem. After appropriate evaluations and preparation, several surgical options are available. The extent of resection is determined by disease location and extent. Indications and results with segmental resection, total colectomy, or proctocolectomy are discussed.
