Virchow-Lymphknoten und Tubenkarzinom

Zusammenfassung

Wir berichten über ein seltenes Karzinom, das Tubenkarzinom, aber darüber hinausgehend vor allem über die Rarität, dass dieses subjektiv für die Patientin und objektiv für die behandelnden Ärzte erst durch eine große linksseitige supraklavikuläre Lymphknotenmetastase (Virchow-Lymphknoten) klinisch offenkundig wurde. Diagnostik und Therapie dieses seltenen Falles werden, auch unter medizinisch-historischem Aspekt, erörtert.

Summary

We describe a patient with cancer of the fallopian tube who presented with marked enlargement of a left-sided supraclavicular lymph node (Virchow's node). We review the diagnosis and treatment of this rare disease.
