Introduction

Once again, endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) was strongly represented at this year’s Digestive Diseases Week (DDW) meeting, reflecting its ever-expanding use. Interventional EUS and new innovative roles figured prominently, and several presentations hinted at the exciting potential for further development of EUS-guided therapy in many disorders.
