Suprakondyläre kindliche Humerusfrakturen

Zusammenfassung

In dieser Übersichtsarbeit werden die vorläufigen Ergebnisse einer multizentrischen Studie mit 737 eingeschlossenen Kindern nach suprakondylärer Humerusfraktur dargelegt. Neben Hinweisen zu Diagnostik und Klassifikation der Fraktur und der Darstellung der stadiengerechten Operations- und Ruhigstellungsverfahren werden die funktionellen Behandlungsresultate und typischen Komplikationen aufgezeigt.

Supracondylar Fractures of the Humerus in Children

We present the preliminary results of a multicenter investigation of 737 children suffering from supracondylar humerus fractures. Besides the functional outcome and typical complications of injured patients we briefly discuss the diagnostic procedures and the classification of the fracture next to giving guidelines for the decision making of conservative vs. operative treatment and immobilisation.
