Abstract

Zusammenfassung

Der Granularzelltumor ist ein seltener Tumor des Ösophagus. Dieser wurde erstmalig 1926 von Abrikossoff beschrieben. Die Lage des Tumors im Ösophagus macht 1,6 % der digestiven Lokalisationen aus. Hier wird der Fall eines 58-jährigen Mannes beschrieben, bei dem ein infrabifurkal gelegenes, verhornendes Plattenepithelkarzinom (pT1, N0, M0, G2) und ein benigner Granularzelltumor des Ösophagus als Inzidentalom diagnostiziert wurden. Der Patient ist in kurativer Absicht operiert worden und seit 22 Monaten rezidivfrei.

Abstract

The granular cell tumor is a rare tumor, described for the first time by Abrikossoff in 1926. The occurrence in the esophagus represents 1.6 % of digestive localisations. This paper reports a case of a benign granular cell tumor associated with a squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus in a 58 year-old man. He is living without evidence of disease 22 months after operation.
