James S. Wu, M.D.

Dr. James S. Wu is a staff surgeon in the Department of Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH. Jim received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. He received a Ph.D. in chemistry from Yale University and his M.D. degree from Washington University in St. Louis. His general surgery training was done at the Jewish Hospital and at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. He received his fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. Between 1994 and 1998, Dr. Wu served as a Clinical Associate in the Department of Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Between 1998 and 2000, he served as a staff surgeon at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Dr. Wu rejoined the medical staff of the Cleveland Clinic in 2000.
