Zusammenfassung
Peritonitis fibroplastica oder sklerosierende Mesenteritis ist ein seltenes Krankheitsbild, welches durch eine unspezifische Entzündung des mesenterialen Fettgewebes entsteht. Symptome der Erkrankung sind gewöhnlich Bauchschmerzen, Ileus oder tastbare abdominelle Resistenzen. Die seltene Erkrankung tritt meist bei Männern im mittleren Alter auf. In der Vielzahl der Fälle limitiert sich die Krankheit selbst, so dass die Prognose günstig ist. Wir berichten über einen Patienten mit Protein-S-Mangel und Peritonitis fibroplastica und Zeichen des Ileus. Die symptomatische Behandlung mit Kortikosteroiden war erfolgreich. Aus der Literatur ist nur ein ähnlicher Fall eines kombinierten Auftretens einer Peritonitis fibroplastica und eines Protein-S-Mangel bekannt.
Abstract
Peritonitis fibroplastica or sclerosing mesenteritis is a rare entity characterized by an nonspecific inflammatory process of the mesenteric adipose tissue. The disease usually presents with abdominal pain or bowel obstruction or palpable abdominal mass. The rare disease occurs most often among the men in the middle of the life. In the majority of cases, the disease is self-limiting and the prognosis is favourable. We report about a patient who suffered protein-S-deficiency in combination with peritonitis fibroplastica and from signs of bowel obstruction. Symptomatic treatment with corticosteroids was given with a good result. In literature is only one case described with an association of protein-S-deficiency and peritonitis fibroplastica.
