Zusammenfassung
Die Transvaginalsonographie eignet sich nicht nur zur Beurteilung des inneren Genitale, sondern auch zur Detektion von Darmtumoren im kleinen Becken.
Die Farb-Doppler-Sonographie hilft in der Differenzierung zwischen Darminhalt und soliden Tumoren. Wir berichten über einen vaginalsonographischen Zufallsbefund eines Rektumkarzinoms bei einer Patientin mit Verdacht auf Adnextumor.
Abstract
Transvaginal ultrasound is an important diagnostic tool in the evaluation of the inner genital tract but is also useful for the detection of intestinal tumors in the lower pelvis. Color Doppler helps to differentiate between endoluminal tumors and scybalum. We report a case of a rectum carcinoma which was detected by transvaginal ultrasound in a patient referred with a suspected adnexal mass.
