Abstract
Neurocysticercosis (NCC) is worldwide the leading cause of parasitic CNS-infection as well as the single leading cause of epileptic seizures. In Middle Europe and USA a rising number of patients with NCC can be seen due to travelling and migration. This single case report deals with a description of clinical, immunological and neuro-imaging findings in a patient with disseminated intracerebral NCC under therapy with praziquantel, dexamethasone and carbamazepine.
