Abstract
A convenient synthesis of highly substituted, non-linear conjugated trienynes is described. Our strategy involves the reaction of readily available thiophosphates with sodium derivative of dienynes, in which new single and double carbon-carbon bonds are formed.
Key words
thiophosphates - trienynes - acetylide anions - carbonyl compounds
