Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy (PUPPP) - A Case Report

Zusammenfassung

Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy (PUPPP) ist eine seltene, eigenständige, prognostisch günstige Dermatose unbekannter Ätiologie, welche gehäuft im 3. Trimester bei I.-Gravidae und Mehrlingsschwangerschaften auftritt und am Abdomen beginnt. Wir berichten über eine 25-jährige I.-Gravida in der 34 ^{+ 5} SSW mit o. g. Diagnose. Klinische Zeichen, Differentialdiagnose, mögliche Ursachen, Diagnostik und Therapie werden diskutiert.

Abstract

Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy (PUPPP) is a rare dermatosis of unknown etiology that is most frequently seen in primiparas and twin/multiple pregnancies. The prognosis is favorable. We report a case of PUPPP in a primipara and review the clinical signs, differential diagnosis, possible etiologic factors, diagnosis, and therapy.
