Abstract
Some novel bile acid-derived dendritic aliphatic polyesters have been synthesized. These first and second generation dendrons have been prepared from 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic acid (bis-MPA) and lithocholic acid (3α-hydroxy-5β-cholan-24-oic acid, LCA) by a convergent method.
