Zusammenfassung

Bei der Behandlung fortgeschrittener Knorpelschäden wird in zunehmendem Maß die Implantation von Karbonfaserstiften propagiert. Die von den Vertreibern zitierten Studien sind vielversprechend. Über nennenswerte Komplikationen wurde bisher nicht berichtet. Bei folgenden Beispielen kam es postoperativ zur Beschwerdeprogredienz und -exarzerbation.

Summary

In the treatment of cartilage damage the use of carbon rods is getting more and more popular. The papers are promising. There are no reports about significant complications. The following cases show a post operative enormous increasing discomfort.
