Zusammenfassung

Die Behandlung Fibromyalgie-bedingter muskuloskelettaler Schmerzen durch Morphin ist meist unbefriedigend. Anhand von 5 Patienten wird gezeigt, dass der Wechsel in der Behandlung von Morphin auf den 5-HT3-Rezeptor-Antagonisten Tropisetron zu einer befriedigenden Schmerzreduktion führen kann.

Abstract

Morphine treatment of musculoskeletal pain due to fibromyalgia is usually unrewarding. Basing on 5 patients it is shown that satisfactory pain reduction can be achieved by changing medication from morphine to the 5-HT3 receptor antagonist tropisetrone.
