Abstract
Three new cyclopentanoid monoterpenes, named piscrocins A (1), B (2) and C (3), were isolated from the roots of Picrorhiza scrophulariiflora (Scrophulariaceae). The structures of these new compounds were established by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic techniques (1H-1H COSY, HMQC, HMBC, and NOESY) in combination with X-ray crystallographic analysis.
