Evaluation einer Elterngruppe für Eltern von Kindern mit Aufmerksamkeitsdefizit und Hyperaktivitätsstörung (ADHS)

Zusammenfassung

Anliegen: Es wird das Curriculum einer Gruppe für Eltern von Kindern mit ADHS vorgestellt sowie deren Bewertung durch die Teilnehmer. Methode: Mittels Fragebogen wurden die Teilnehmer schriftlich um anonyme Rückmeldung gebeten. Ergebnisse: Bei einer Rücklaufquote von ca. 59 % wurden durchweg positive Einschätzungen abgegeben. Informationen über die Art der Störung und den Umgang damit sowie der Austausch mit anderen Eltern und den Therapeutinnen wurden als besonders hilfreich beurteilt. Schlussfolgerungen: Neben Informationen über ADHS und Punkteplänen stellt der Austausch unter Gleichbetroffenen einen wichtigen Faktor für den Erfolg der Gruppe dar.

Abstract

Objective: The curriculum of a group for parents of children with ADHD and its evaluation by the participants are presented. Method: A questionnaire was sent to the participants and answered anonymously. Results: With a response rate of 59 %, mainly positive ratings were obtained. Information on the nature of the disorder, on behavioural strategies and the mutual exchange with other parents and the therapists were considered especially helpful. Conclusions: Information on ADHD, behavioural interventions and the exchange among co-parents contribute substantially to the success of a parent training group.
