Schwindelattacken: Differenzialdiagnose und Therapie

Lernziele

Die Differenzialdiagnose des Schwindels ruht auf drei Säulen: der gezielten Exploration nach Schwindeltyp, Attackendauer, Auslösern und Begleitsymptomen, der vestibulären und neurologischen Untersuchung sowie der Kenntnis der häufigen Schwindelsyndrome. Die apparative Diagnostik spielt eine untergeordnete Rolle. Die meisten Schwindel-Erkrankungen sind spezifisch therapierbar. Antivertiginosa werden nur kurzzeitig bei akutem vestibulären Schwindel eingesetzt.
