Mastitis is an economically significant disease of dairy cattle throughout the world.
Diagnosis of clinical mastitis poses no problem but at present its management is solely
dependent on antibiotics, which are costly, and out of reach of the poor farmer as
well the residue problem it poses for human health through its excretion in milk.
Therefore, the search for alternate management strategies for mastitis and udder infections
is continuing throughout the world. Recently some homeopathic drugs have been claimed
to be efficacious. The present trial was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of a combination
homeopathic therapy in udder infections of dairy cows.
