Die apparative Versorgung der Schwerhörigkeit: Konventionelle und implantierbare Hörgeräte

Zusammenfassung
Im Rahmen des vorliegenden Referates werden die aktuellen Konzepte der apparativen Versorgung Hörgeschädigter in überschaubarem Umfang referiert. Besondere Merkmale zur Beurteilung konventioneller Hörgeräte sind neben der Frage „analoge” versus „digitale” Versorgung unterschiedliche Strategien zur Verbesserung des Hörens im Störgeräusch. Auf dem Gebiet der implantierbaren Hörgeräte sind derzeit ausschließlich Teilimplantate kommerziell erhältlich. Diese bieten vor allem eine Verbesserung der Klangqualität. Deren wesentlicher Nachteil ist die fehlende Richtmikrofonwirkung ihrer externen Komponenten. Zwei unterschiedliche vollimplantierbare Hörgeräte befinden sich momentan in der klinischen Prüfung. Eine der interessantesten neuen Entwicklungen ist die kombinierte elektrische und akustische Stimulation.
