Minimally Invasive Surgery, 2004 - 2005
Publication History
Publication Date:
14 February 2006 (online)
Introduction
Minimally invasive techniques are becoming the preferred approach for abdominal surgical procedures. With improvements in technology and growing experience with laparoscopic techniques, the boundaries of minimally invasive surgery are continually being redefined in solid organ and vascular surgery. This review identifies important articles published in 2004 - 2005 concerning minimally invasive approaches to liver disease, splenic disorders, adrenal malignancy, benign and malignant pancreatic pathology, donor nephrectomy, biliary reconstruction, and vascular surgery.
