A Case of Chronic Psoriasis
Publication History
Publication Date:
28 March 2006 (online)

Summary
This case teaches us firstly to be open to any approach to case-taking that solves the case (here a clue from P. Schmidt's “Art of Case-taking” was used) provided it is holistic, considering mind and body together. Secondly, this case bears testimony to Hahnemann's teaching in treating chronic diseases in that it requires series of well selected remedies following each other according to the symptoms until the patient is completely cured. Thirdly, in chronic diseases the patient should be seen for a longer duration before we can consider the disease to be cured. Lastly, cure should take place according to Herring's Law of Cure (here psoriasis clearing first from the upper part of body).
