The Magic of the Repertory

Summary

‘Links' has made the greatest contribution to the gradual improvement and refining of my practice. The journal has published fundamentals of homeopathic portraits in many different colours, painted with valuable brushes, (Organon, M. M., repertories, new provings, newer methods of case taking etc.) by world-class artists.

Repertories have always attracted me as a magic box. Always something new comes out of it when I open it and use it every time. I use different repertories a lot in every case, even if the patient is a clear case of some remedy. What we guess in a case before repertorising is often totally different as a remedy when we do repertorisation.

I am always fascinated to see newer and unknown remedies in selected rubrics in most of the cases I see. Thus I am able to select lesser-known or so-called small remedies with good results. Small remedies are not small when used intelligently. Even Jan Scholten says: ‘In an unknown case prescribe an unknown remedy’.

The following two cases are presented to show the importance of using the repertories.
