Summary
A homeopath passes through various phases of development during training and practice.
As the practice evolves, so do the failures. These failures make us re-examine and
re-assess our cases to correct the flaws. The commonest route taken is to try out
newer methods of case-taking or analysis.
All the new methods are usually developed on the sound understanding of the basics
of homeopathic philosophy. It requires a physician to have some experience with the
fundamental or basic or routine methods of prescribing before venturing forth into
any such new methods. The vast majority of cases can be treated with the Kentian or
Boeninghausen approach taught in most colleges. This article presents some cases using
this routine method.
