A Proving of Opuntia Vulgaris

Summary
The cultural Association ‘Tree of Life’ has conducted a double-blind proving of Ficus indica, in collaboration with Prof. Mario Matera of the Department of Experimental Pharmacology and Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Catania University. The most important symptoms were of the gastrointestinal system (burning sensation, pain, nausea, sore sensation), the mental level (fatigue, exhaustion, confusion and weakness of memory), abdominal (swelling sensation, cramps), urinary system (sense of heavy bladder, urination disturbance and haematuria) and general symptoms (exhaustion and fatigue).
