Abstract
Primary hydatid disease of the intestinal mesentery is rare. We report on a 12-year-old male patient who presented with abdominal pain and urticaria lesions after blunt abdominal trauma. At laparotomy the cyst was found to be ruptured and was totally removed from the surrounding mesenteric tissue.The postoperative course was uneventful. This case is the first child reported with traumatic rupure of a hydatid cyst in a mesenteric location.
Rupture traumatique d'un kyste hydatique de localisation inhabituelle: a propos d'un cas
Le kyste hydatique primitif du mésentère est rare. Nous rapportons le cas d'un garçon de 12 ans qui présentait des douleurs abdominales et des lésions d'urticaire après un traumatisme fermé de l'abdomen. Lors de la laparotomie, le kyste était trouvé rompu et était totalement libéré des tissus mésentériques voisins. L'évolution post-opératoire était sans problème. Ce cas est le premier cas rapporté d'enfant avec rupture d'un kyste hydatique de localisation mésentérique.
Rotura traumática de quiste hidatídico de localización rara sin afectación hepatica: caso clinico
La hidatidosis primaria del mesenterio es rara. Presentamos un chico de 12 años con tumor abdominal y lesiones urticariales tras traumatísmo abdominal. En la laparotomía se encontró un quiste roto que fue totalmente extraído del tejido mesentérico circundante. El curso postoperatorio transcurrió sin incidentes. Este caso es el primer niño presentado con rotura traumática de un quiste hidatídico de localización mesentérica.
Traumatische Ruptur einer Hydatid-Zyste mit ungewöhnlicher Lokalisation ohne Leberbeteiligung: eine Falldarstellung
Die Entwicklung einer Echinokokkuszyste außerhalb von Leber und Lunge ist ungewöhnlich. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird ein 12-jähriger Knabe mit einer Echinokokkuszyste im Bereich des Mesenteriums vorgestellt. Er litt unter Schmerzen nach einem stumpfen Bauchtrauma und Urticaria. Bei der Laparotomie fand sich eine Zystenruptur. Das Gewebe wurde vollständig vom umgebenden Mesenterium abgelöst und reseziert. Der postoperative Verlauf war unauffällig, die Histologie ergab eine rupturierte Hydatide im Bereich des Mesenteriums.
