Zusammenfassung

Die drei osteopathischen Prinzipien von Struktur und Funktion, Selbstheilungsmechanismen und interaktive Einheit gelten für Körper, Geist und Seele eines Menschen gleichermaßen und entsprechen den drei aristotelischen Prinzipien der Wahrnehmung der Realität. Für dessen viertes Prinzip schlägt der Autor die Bedeutungs-Erwartungsreaktion vor. Die Heilung eines (älteren) Patienten kann nur über die Aktivierung der Selbstheilungsmechanismen erfolgen. Dazu muss der Patient sich selbst lieben und die Fürsorge des Therapeuten spüren.

Summary

The three osteopathic principles of structure and function, self-healing mechanisms and interactive unity apply in equal measure to a person's body, spirit and psyche, in accordance with the three aristotelian principles of the perception of reality. The author suggests the „acceptance-expectance” reaction as Aristotle's fourth principle. (Elderly) patients can only be healed if their self-healing mechanism is activated. In order for this to happen the patient must first love himself/herself and recognize that the practitioner's main concern is his or her well-being.

Les soins ostéopathiques chez les personnes âgées

Les trois principes ostéopathiques de structure et de fonction, de mécanismes d'auto guérison et d'unité interactive sont applicables pour le corps, l'esprit et l'âme de toute personne de la même manière et correspondent aux trois principes aristotéliques de la perception de la réalité (causalité). Quant au quatrième principe, l'auteur propose la réaction d'attente selon l'importance. La guérison d'un patient âgé ne peut se faire que s'il active son mécanisme d'auto guérison. Pour ce faire, le patient doit s'aimer soimême et sentir la sollicitude du thérapeute.
