herausgegeben [1].
Abstract
Does it go without saying that body exercise is healthy and lack of exercise is unhealthy?
The details of such a discussion are not only interesting but also quite challenging.
Several questions arise, as posed in this article, about vibration training, therapy
and training of muscle function. They include: What type of exercise? How often? How
much vigour? How long? The article further shows that data regarding positive effects
of exercise is quite impressive. Indeed a combination of the effects of body exercise
based on the available literature gives the reader a very rosy picture (Table [1]). In the last years, many international scientific organisations, medical associations,
as well as public health authorities have published extensive literature with concrete
details on the health advantages of body exercise [1]. Objectives, safety and efficacy of the whole body vibration with the side-alternating
Galileo system are discussed.
