Zusammenfassung

Der Verfasser bespricht die Möglichkeiten der Nutzung eines Computers in der Praxis. An Hand eines eigenen Falles zeigt er, daß nicht die übliche Rechenarbeit mit den Wertzahlen in Kents Repertorium das Ideal darstellt, sondern eine freie Begriffssuche in einem offenen Text. Über den Inhalt der Allenschen Enzyklopädie hinaus sollte es binnen absehbarer Zeit möglich sein, die 3-4mal so umfangreiche, in der gesamten Weltliteratur bisher brachliegende Materia medica, also alle jeher veröffentlichten Prüfungen und Fallberichte, auf diese Weise für alle zugänglich zu machen.

The technique of using a Computer in homoeopathic work is discussed relating a case from practice. Not the rather useless way of »computer-repertorizing« by entering the rubrics of Kenfs repertory is best, but a free searching in an open text would be ideal. The Belgian University of Namur has taken first Steps towards this end: since a few months ago the Club Archimede offers as an additional module to their R.A.D.A.R.-programm the possi-bility of an inquiry within the complete text of Allen's Encyclopedia. The next Step according to the author could be including a much more comprehensive materia medica up to the present time inaccessible to the public, namely, the provings and cases published in a vast number of different homoeopathic Journals, which have not been incorporated into the encyclopedia.
