Der interessante Fall: Dermatomyositis

Zusammenfassung

Es wird die Langzeitbehandlung einer Patientin mit klinisch nachgewiesener Dermatomyositis beschrieben. Immunsuppressive Vorbehandlung und fast völliger Mangel an individueller Symptomatik erschwerten die korrekte Arzneiwahl! So mußte sehr vorsichtig in angepaßten Stufen therapiert werden: Zuerst Ignatia (Muskellähmung nach Gemütsbewegung); dann Zwischenbehandlung mit potenziertem Eigenblut (immunsuppressive Vorbehandlung), danach Kalium nitricum entsprechend den toxikologischen Zeichen (Lähmung und Krampf der Muskulatur) und charakteristischen Symptomen (Beginn mit Ödemen). Nach dieser Arznei deutliche Besserung der Grundkrankheit. Die zum Krankheitsbild gehörende Dysphagie blieb allerdings bestehen und wurde nach Causti-cum besser. Eine spätere Zunahme der Spasmen verlangte Plumbum. Die wesentliche Behandlung wurde mit Nux moschata abgeschlossen; hinweisend war, daß dyspha-gische Mißempfindungen nach Ärger und Kummer wieder auftraten.

Summary

The paper desribes the long term treatment of a patient with clinically proven Dermatomyositis. Due to the previous immunsuppressive treatment and because of insufficient individual Symptoms the correct choice of remedy was very difficult. Therefore therapy was done carefully initiated as follows: first, Ignatia was given (paralysis after emotione); the second treatment was with potentized blood of the patient (previous immunsupressive treatment); followed by Kalium nitricum as indicated by the picture of toxicology (muscular paralysis and spasms). After this last remedy a significant amelioration of the disease took place. The dysphagia (port of the disease) did not ameliorate until Causticum was prescribed. The later increase of the spasms required Plumbum. In the final treatment of this case Nux moschata was used as the last remedy. (The Sensation of dysphagia after anger and grief had returned.)
