Zusammenfassung

Die erste "reine Arzneimittellehre" und das erste Repertorium der Homöopathiegeschichte (1805 von Hahnernann publiziert) wurden in der bisherigen Rezeption meist ungenügend gewürdigt, vermutlich, weil beide bis heute nur im lateinischen Original vorliegen. Neben einer kurzen Erläuterung der historischen Bezüge wird hier erstmals eine deutsche Übersetzung von Hahnemanns Vorwort angeboten, das bereits die wesentlichen methodologischen Gesichtspunkte für Arzneimittelprüfungen enthält.

Summary

The first "materia medica pura" and the first repertory in the history of homoeopathy (pub-lished by Hahnemann in 1805) has not received proper attention. One reason may be that only the latin original is available. This paper provides an outline of the historical context and for the first timea German translation of Hahnemann's preface with early methodological considerations of drug prov-ings.
