Klinische Forschung zur Homöopathie - eine kritische Bewertung

Zusammenfassung

Anhand der Metaanalyse aller klinischen Studien zur Homöopathie bis 1995 bzw. der Metaanalysen zu bestimmten Indikationen und anhand der bis Ende 1998 erschienenen Doppelblindstudien wird das Problem der klinischen Forschung zur Homöopathie erörtert. Die Ergebnisse werden kritisch bewertet. Die Eignung der randomisierten Doppelblindstudie zum Wirksamkeitsnachweis der Homöopathie und die Bedeutung von Beobachtungsstudien und Praxisevaluationen wird diskutiert.

Summary

The problem of clinical research on homoeopathy is discussed including the meta-analysis of all randomized trials on homoeopathy until 1995, the meta-analyses of trials on certain conditions and the randomized trials published until the end of 1998. The results are critically analyzed. The suitability of the randomized double blind study for the proof of effectiveness of homoeopathy is discussed as well as the significance of observational and outcomes studies.
