Tumoren der Lider

Die enge Beziehung zum Auge und zur Orbita sowie die Vielfältigkeit der Dignität der Lidtumoren erfordern unter Berücksichtigung des komplizierten Lidaufbaus besondere Kenntnisse für die effiziente Diagnostik und Therapie.

Die weitgefächerte Kaskade der Tumoren ist einerseits mit den zahlreichen morphologischen Strukturen, andererseits mit der Exposition des Gesichtes gegenüber allen nur denkbaren Umwelteinflüssen, insbesondere mit der aktinischen Strahlung, zu erklären [25] [30]. Bestimmte Charakteristika der periorbitalen und Lidregion erfordern für die Diagnostik, Therapie und psychische Führung und Beratung der Patienten ein hohes Maß an Verständnis und Einfühlungsvermögen. Die besondere Situation der Augenumgebung ergibt sich aus dem komplizierten Lidaufbau, der dünnen Haut - die Lidhaut ist die feinste Haut des Körpers -, der Angrenzung der Lidkanten an die Konjunktiva und den Augapfel und damit auch an die Orbita, die engen, tief gelegenen räumlichen Verhältnisse im nasalen Lidwinkel, die Möglichkeit der Lidfehlstellung und der Tangierung des Tränennasenweges und/oder des Bulbus sowohl morphologisch als auch funktionell. Ist durch zu späte oder unvollständige Therapie die Ausbreitung von Tumoren in die Orbita möglich, so können bei Kindern Fehlbildungen entstehen, bei Kindern und Erwachsenen Tumoren aus der Nachbarschaft in die Lider einwachsen [10] [15] [21] [32] [33].
