Wie in allen Fachgebieten, so ist auch in der Neurologie eine von Jahr zu Jahr zunehmende Fülle an klinischen als auch experimentellen Ergebnissen zu verzeichnen. Daher können in dieser Übersicht nicht alle neuen Entwicklungen im Jahr 2005 berücksichtigt werden, sondern nur eine kleine Auswahl an Studien.
