Convenient and Efficient Preparation of N-Protected (α-Aminoacyl)oxy-Substituted Terpenes and Alkanes

Abstract

Chiral N-protected (α-aminoacyl)oxy-substituted ter­penes and alkanes, including diastereomeric analogues, are conveniently and efficiently prepared from the corresponding readily available chiral and racemic 1-{[(benzyloxycarbonyl)amino]acyl}benzotriazoles under microwave irradiation with naturally occurring terpene alcohols or alkanols.
