Introduction
Pulmonary arteriovenous malformations (PAVMs), first described in a 12-year-old boy by Churton in 1897, are abnormal communications between pulmonary arteries and pulmonary veins [[1]]. The majority of PAVMs are congenital and few reports on acquired PAVMs have been published. We present a case here, which - to the best of our knowledge - is the first acquired PAVM secondary to a hydatid cyst operation in the literature.
