A new quinoline derivative, 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-3-(3′-methyl-2′-butenyl)-quinoline (1) and five known quinoline alkaloids were isolated from the fruits of Evodia officinalis. The structure of 1 was determined by spectroscopic methods
