Abstract
The isolation of five bitter-tasting steroids as minor constituents from the Chinese medicinal plant Tacca plantaginea (Taccaceae), taccalonolides G (1), H (2), I (3), J (4), and K (5) is described. Their structures were elucidated mainly by spectroscopic methods.
